We’ve developed a close association with the war veterans at The Oswald Stoll Foundation in Fulham to say thank you for their services to the nation.
One of our keenest recruits has been Frank Wright, pictured to the left with Allan Ramsay. Frank has had a varied career in the arts, starting at The Central School of Art in 1961 where he won a scholarship from the Goldsmiths company. As a member of the printmakers council he took part in exhibitions all over the world, including three at The Festival Hall.
A fall in 1996 had prevented him from keeping up his artistic practice in retirement, so when he heard about the chance to return to art college he thought ‘Brilliant. I never believed something like this would happen. It is like a window opening, a new chapter in my life. I feel like I have been given a plane to fly and I’m taking off’.
