Stuart Howitt on ‘Show me the Monet’ BBC 2

Head study by Stuart Howitt

Former portrait diploma student Stuart Howitt bravely entered BBC2’s ‘Show me the Monet’ series earlier this year. The show aired last month and Stuart was one of the very few to get the thumbs up from the hanging committee. The judges were impressed by this portrait of his husband giving him the two votes he needed to make it through to the final exhibition showcase at The Royal College of Art where his painting sold at the private view.
