The 245th Royal Academy Summer Show opened last month. The world’s largest open-submission exhibition, it attracted over 11,000 entries of which 1,000 made it through. Amongst those successful few were a number of Heatherleys’ tutors and students, including Hilary Daltry, Miriam Escofet, Steve Duncan, Penny Mundy and Sharon Low.
Particular attention has been given to Hilary Daltry’s woodcut, ‘Clementines’, which was highlighted in Andrew Lambirth’s review in the Spectator on the 15th June.
The exhibition continues until the 18th of August.
