Sarah-Jane Moon wins the Bulldog Bursary

A big (rather belated!) congratulations to Sarah-Jane Moon for winning this year’s Bulldog Bursary.

A former Portrait Diploma student, Sarah says of the prize ‘I am very pleased and grateful to be awarded the Royal Society of Portrait Painter’s Bulldog Bursary 2013, especially given the calibre of the other shortlisted artists. Many thanks to those friends and colleagues who are a continual source of support and encouragement, and also to the RSPP and Bulldog Trust for their generosity and commitment to supporting emerging portrait painters. I look forward to spending much more time in the studio over the coming year and to realising several portraiture projects I have in mind, primarily depicting women artists, writers, couples and families’.
