Danny Cuming and Paul Gildea at the Venice Biennale

Danny Cuming and Paul Gildea will be exhibiting in Venice this week.

Danny says ‘We were invited by curator Vanya Balogh, with whom I co-curated Big Deal MMX last year in Fulham. Both Paul and I have exhibited widely for over twenty five years, being involved in the flourishing art scenes of East and South London for a great deal of that time. Through this activity we have met and shown work alongside some of the most important names in contemporary art . These contacts and associations have drawn us together, independently of our teaching selves, and therefore we are part of The Fall Of The Rebel Angels. A further twist is that Vanya Balogh studied at Heatherleys in 1984.’
